St. Francis High School Spartans
3rd Annual 5K FUN RUN/WALK

Location
Danada Forest Preserve
3S580 Naperville Road, Wheaton, IL
on the east side of Naperville Road, just one/half mile north of I-88.

ALL are welcome!
Our goal is to build community spirit!
Refreshments, awards and a genuinely great family event for all.
Each runner will receive a T-Shirt while supplies last.
5K RUNNERS – all ages
YOUTH MILE – ages 12 years and under
WALKERS – all ages
LIMIT 400 PARTICIPANTS

Awards
Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners
in the following age ranges:
12-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,
40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 plus.

Purpose
To help raise funds to purchase athletic
equipment for all St. Francis Sports!

Race Day Schedule
7:30 a.m. Registration and packet pick-up
(closes at 8:30 a.m.)
8:45 a.m. Youth Mile begins
9:00 a.m. 5K Race & Walk begins
Pre / Post Care Provided by NovaCare Rehabilitation

The Course
On the grounds of the beautiful Danada Equestrian Center. This fast and flat USATF Certified course offers runners the opportunity to run on crushed stone and natural surrounding environments of trees, bushes, animals and horses.

The Youth Mile
(Age 12 and under)
An equally flat and fast Youth Mile course begins at 8:45a.m. Young runners will finish through the shoot, so they will have the experience of competition as they complete the event.

You must register for each participant separately.

* $2.50 Discount for CARA/FRTR members with membership number.

WAIVER: I know that a run/walk is a potentially hazardous activity. I know that I should not enter and run/walk the SPARTAN 5K unless I am medically able and properly trained. All risks associated with running/walking in the SPARTAN 5K including, but not limited to: falls; contact with other participants; effects of weather; traffic; road conditions are known and appreciated by me. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the SPARTAN 5K. I grant permission to use any photograph, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of the SPARTAN 5K for any legitimate purpose. Having read this waiver, knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my application and non-refundable entry fee, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act in my behalf, waive and release St. Francis High School and all sponsors, supporters, officials and volunteers associated with SPARTAN 5K, their representatives and successors, from any and all rights, claims, demands and actions of any and every nature whatsoever that I may have, for any and all loss, damage, or injuries sustained by me, before and after the SPARTAN 5K, including travel to and from that race.
